The Business Roundtable Honors Public Safety Director Mark Magaw

by bizroundtable on September 29, 2016

Recently, the Business Roundtable had the honor of presenting Prince George’s County Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Public Safety, Mark A. Magaw, with our Distinguished Public Service Award for his more than thirty years protecting the citizens and businesses of the county during his exemplary career in public safety.

Prior to answering the call of County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III to take on this demanding new role as Public Safety Director, Mr. Magaw served as the County Police Chief, where the department saw record improvements in the reduction of violent and property crimes in Prince George’s County for the past several years since the beginning of this decade in the Baker Administration.

We are pleased with Mr. Magaw’s continued dedication to the county and we look forward to assisting him in his new role.
